Kimberly Bobka, owner and trainer, at the ground breaking for the new multi-purpose building for Teacher’s Pet K-9 School in Sycamore, which starts construction this month.
The Sycamore-based Teacher’s Pet K-9 School is expanding to include a new 3,000 sq. ft. building. Kimberly Bobka, owner, dog trainer and certified animal behaviorist, said the new facility will feature large private indoor/outdoor suites for the dogs, heated floors, and temperature controlled environment for the dogs’ comfort and peace of mind. We will still offer all of our normal services including Obedience and Agility training classes, Boarding, Pet Sitting, Doggie Day Care and plenty of extra playtime for the dogs. Ms. Bobka is an award winning trainer who has been teaching dogs and their owners obedience, agility and problem solving lessons for over 25 years. This building will be dedicated to the memory of her good friend in the military who died tragically just one year ago. “She loved the Army and she loved dogs.” Bobka Said. “She wanted to one day volunteer to help me with the rescue dogs I work with. Sadly, she will never get to do that. This will keep her memory alive and let everyone know she still has a part in helping dogs.”
